100 words about spoken word
Our Spoken word peace is about our current communtiy members, firefighters. These guys make sacrifices that they must take every day so we can have alot more freedom. Every year, fires take many lives and destroy billions of dollars worth of property. Firefighters put their lives on the line to safe money and more importantly lives. They give up there family's and loved ones to risk their lives to save others. They stay up all day and are ready to leave at any time. This is what the live for.

100 Word Description
Our 3-D model fro this project is very unique. I say unique because when you think about it Jackie Robinson and firefighters don’t connect in that very exact moment. But we put these things together for a reason. They both never gave up. Jackie Robinson loved that sport and just because people didn’t like him cause of the color of his skin. That didn’t stop him from playing and from making a change in the world if it wasn’t for him there wouldn’t be African American firefighters. But this model we made a map of New York City . In Manhattan we are going place the twin towers to represent how they collapsed. And I Brooklyn we will place the stadium where Jackie Robinson played.

Connection
This project is very interesting iin a way . We connected Jackie Robinson to Firefighters. I can somehow connect to this project to myself because its all about courage to do something that nobody else would do . Jackie Robinson took the courage to be one of the first african american player on a baseball team . Firefighters take a big step to save many lifes. for example on september 11 2001 they tried to save as many lives as they could. I connect to this cause it's not just about being remember . It's about knowing that you will never give up on what you believe in .
How I connnect...
I can connect with Jackie Robinson becasue i know what he's been through. I have been faced with a team before, that didnt appreciate me for me, just becasue i was someone new and different. Just like Jackie Robinson, they didn't respect me, and they didn't realize that what they did and said hurt. Jackie Robinson is a hero to me, becasue even though people hated and didn't want him playing the sport he loved, h fought through it becasue itwas something he was good at, and he loved the game.
With the 9/11 firefighters, first of all i was alive when the planes crashed into the twin towers, and even though i dont have family in NY, or dont connect to it like that, it still effected me. I thought that at any second, and plane, or a bomb, or a gunshot could come crashing through the window and that would be the end of it. This really got me thinkging and i honor and respect the brave heros that went into the burning building to rescue others. I also saw the movie flight 93 which also really inspired me. Another terrorist had hijacked a plane and was planning to crash it into another building(i'm not exactly sure which one). Some family memebers called their loved ones who were on the hijacked plane and said that two planes had already crashed into the twin towers and thats when they knew that there plane too were under the hands of terrorists. Instead of sitting back and waiting for them to die, they decided to fight back, some people got stabbed, but kept on fighting, the terrorists were forced to crash the plane into a farmers field, which killed all of them, but saved many lives. So when i saw this movie it really inspired me and i tried to think of what i would do in that situation.

Studio Work Time
Friday, me and briseyda traced a map of New York City. This was very important because we need this map to start building and painting our project. Next studio time, we will begin painting the map and getting our supplies ready for building our stadium and the twin towers. Me and briseyda did equal work and we worked well together to try and get the entire map traced before class time was over.

Studio Time Reflection
Well today during this time in class we actually got a lot of work done. Even though we just started doing stuff today we did most of it. We trace a map that we needed to trace . So I feel like we are on a pretty good track.I fell that me and my partner did shared the work evenly just because we worked together and we got a lot done. Next time in studio time I think that we will start building the rest of the stuff that we need. So that the days that we have left we could work on the spoken work part of the project.

Spoken word piece..
Well, For the spoken word piece, we were thinking about making a poem. If u have ever heard the song Runaway Love by Ludacris, it has one main chorus, and each verse is a different story about someone. So we were thinking to our poem like that. To have one main "chorus" and then each verse we would switch off to why jackie robinson and 9/11 firefighters is resilient.
BluePrint Feedback
Well the feedback that i got today from my fellow class mates was somehow help full and some of them were just asking . I think that they asked because my partner and I had an idea but we just didn't draw cause we were still undecided.
I really did like some of it . I liked part of it because it was actually helped because some people said some suggestion on how we could do it to make it look alot more creative. And some of it just got us thinking about how the whole thing in general. Because here's the thing we plan to do the map of NEW YORK CITY and were Brooklyn is we would put the stadium were Jackie Robinson played. Then we would build a model of the Twin Towers where the crashed . and some people said "Well that's a good idea but what would you do with the rest of the map?" . So I personally think that is very helpful.
